165th Rockford College Charter Day Convocation

Charter Day Convocation celebrates the 165th anniversary of the signing of the charter for Rockford College and includes an academic procession of faculty in traditional robes depicting their rank, with stoles representing their respective alma maters and degrees. Sunil Puri, ’82 will provide remarks at this year’s convocation. Along with being an alumnus of the College, Mr. Puri also currently serves on the Board of Trustees. Mr. Puri is the President and founder of First Rockford Group, Inc. and has had the privilege of advising President Clinton and traveling to India with the President in 2000 and 2001. He continues to be involved with President Obama on finance committees and Indian-American relations.
