Save the date to welcome spring with your floral friends Klehm’s spring garden luncheon at Giovanni’s. This year’s speaker is Gordon Hayward. His book Fine Paintings as Inspiration for Garden Design, explores the visual language shared by painters and garden designers. By juxtaposing a painting and a garden image on the screen simultaneously, Hayward explores the many levels of similarity between how painters and garden designers compose their images. His 10 AM workshop, Your House, Your Garden, Cultivating an Authentic Garden, explores the idea that your house is actually the center of your garden. Hayward will show how to design front, side and back gardens that compliment your home.
