Rock Valley College will host Career Open Houses at two locations on Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at each location.
RVC offers a wide variety of exciting career tracks for people to pursue—many of which may be completed in two years or less (get trained…get a job). The open houses will provide the opportunity to tour facilities, talk to faculty and staff, learn about financial aid opportunities, and even get started with registration. Light refreshments will also be provided.
At RVC’s Stenstrom Center for Career Education (4151 Samuelson Road, Rockford) attendees will have the opportunity to learn about any of the following career paths and programs: Automotive Maintenance, Building Trades, Computers and Information Systems Technology, Data Assurance and IT Security Networking Specialist, Criminal Justice, Dental Hygiene, Electronics, Electronic Engineering Technology, Engineering, Fire Science, Graphic Arts, Integrated Systems Maintenance (machine maintenance), Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Mass Communication, Nursing, Surgical Technician, Sustainable Energy Systems, Truck Driving Training, Web Information, and Welding.
