Creekwood Baptist Church, 7281 Olde Creek Road, is hosting a Double Dog Dare Easter Egg Hunt from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 30, on the church grounds. The entire event is open to the public, free of charge.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Creekwood welcomes children for their annual traditional Easter Egg Hunt, featuring hundreds of candy-filled eggs to collect plus hot dogs, treats and beverages.
From 2 to 4 p.m., Creekwood invites dog owners to participate in their first ever Doggie Easter Biscuit Hunt on church grounds. The event includes the hunt plus an Easter doggie costume contest. Bring your dogs; bring your cameras; bring the whole family for the fun. Winnebago County Animal Services will be there to answer questions about pet adoption, care and neutering. For the first 30 dog owners, PetCo of Rockford has donated gift bags on a first-come, first-get basis.
