PSLS Fair Housing Project and Community Services will reach out to people facing housing discrimination with information and free legal advice on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the City of Rockford Community Services office located at 555 N. Church St. Ste. 301. Prairie State Legal Services Fair Housing Project is a new program in Rockford funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Fair Housing Project seeks to end housing discrimination by promoting housing choice for all regardless of their race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation or familial status. To that end, the Project investigates complaints of housing discrimination, provides free legal representation and community education.
