Relax and unwind at "Music On Main"...the Mendelssohn Performing Arts Center's series of brief and intimate after-work concerts, held at our historic Emerson House at 420 North Main Street in the heart of downtown Rockford. Experience beautiful music, mingle with the artists, enjoy complimentary wine and cheese, and relax with your friends. Make Music On Main an after-work tradition!
This program, a revue of American composer/lyricist Stephen Sondheim's music, will be presented by local and regional musicians.
Performances take place on the second Monday of the month, September through November and February through May. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Seating is limited, so arrive early!
Suggested donation is $10 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Shelter Care Ministries.
