The Rock Valley College Department of Mass Communication is proud to announce its Third Annual Student Documentary Showcase. Join us on Friday, March 30, 2012 in the Performing Arts Room (lower level of the Educational Resource Center on the RVC main campus, 3301 North Mulford rd.) at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free.
The films were produced in the Fall of 2011 and cover a wide range of interesting topics:
Overcomer
The story of a faith based substance abuse rehabilitation program.
Directed by: Julia Moore and Christiaan Letsinger
From the Ashes
A biopic of one of the premiere Corvette restorers in the country.
Directed by: Kyle Reinders and Jordan Goodwin
The Revolving Door: Recidivism on the Rise
An in depth look at the issue of reform vs. punishment in the justice system.
Directed by Abbey Flowers Brick

This film explains the work of the Rock River Water Reclamation District
